Special Education Teacher

Job Title: Special Education Teacher
Reports to: School Principal
Position Type: Full-time with part-time option

We seek a candidate to round out our special education team. This position operates similar to a resource room setting with ample room for individual teaching style and program development. Ideal candidates possess a strong interest in Waldorf education, experience in developing behavior support plans, and a commitment to serving a diverse population of students.

This position also includes case management and working with class teachers to understand how to best serve students. This role provides an inspiring opportunity to weave together best practices in special education with Waldorf-based educational support. NH Special Education certification (or transferable state certification) is required

Bachelor's degree in education or related field

Minimum of two years experience with special education

Interest in the Waldorf pedagogy

Three years of teaching experience preferred

Waldorf teacher training and/or Waldorf teaching experience encouraged

Salary range $48K - $60K, commensurate with experience, or FTE
