Maintenance Technician / Mechanic

Position SummarySenior level technical services role supporting equipment maintenance, new equipment integration, facility engineering work, and equipment reliability.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Develop, optimize, and improve preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to reduce downtime and improve reliability
- Analyze equipment performance data and lead root cause investigations to resolve recurring failures
- Provide technical support and training to technicians and operators on equipment operation, maintenance practices, and safety protocols
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including production, quality, and operations, to ensure equipment meets operational requirements
- Lead facility and equipment projects from scope development through execution and commissioning
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities related to equipment performance and facility systems
- Comply with all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) procedures and requirements
- Document engineering activities, maintenance strategies, and project updates in CMMS and related systems
- Associate’s degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial, or related engineering discipline, or equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible experience
- 3+ years of experience in equipment, facilities, or manufacturing roles (or equivalent hands‑on technical experience)
- Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance program development
- Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills across mechanical and/or electrical systems
- Manufacturing experience (optics/coatings/CNC preferred for your site)
- Lean / Six Sigma experience
- Reliability engineering exposure
The range for this position is $71,139.00 - $97,817.00 assuming full‑time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job‑related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
