North Country Center for the Arts at Jean’s Playhouse is seeking a Music Director / Pianist for our annual production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL
, returning to the stage this December for its fourth year!

This original musical adaptation has become a holiday tradition in the White Mountains and returns each year with a company of professional musical theatre performers. As an established remount, much of the musical groundwork and production structure is already in place.

Contract Dates: November 28 – December 20, 2026
Travel Dates: November 27 & December 21
Location: Lincoln, New Hampshire
Compensation: $500 - $550 / week
Housing: Shared Housing in Ski Condos or Hotel Suites Provided for non-local artists
Performances: Two public performance weekends, Friday through Sunday, with four performances each weekend, plus up to three weekday 10 AM school performances.

Seeking an experienced musical theatre Music Director/Pianist to music direct rehearsals and serve as the primary pianist for performances.

Responsibilities include teaching and reviewing vocal material with the company, accompanying music rehearsals and run-throughs, maintaining the musical integrity of the production, working with the Director and cast on musical notes and adjustments, and playing the piano/keyboard book for performances.

This show is performed by an intimate onstage band featuring a solo piano, violin, cello, and potentially adding a percussionist this year. Band has a small amount of blocking and is costumed. No Main Stage programming.
