Traveler must be pre-closed to this specific need before upload.
Must have NH MIRT license in hand, OR be willing to complete temp license process (fingerprinting, etc.).
No local travelers (must live >50 miles from facility).
Position Overview – Radiation TherapistWorks under the administrative direction of the Chief Therapist and clinical direction of the Radiation Oncologist to provide care at Kingsbury Center for Cancer Care. Must be able to work independently.
Key Responsibilities- Administer prescribed radiation treatments and monitor patients/equipment.
- Prepare patients, rooms, and equipment for treatments and simulations.
- Assist Radiation Oncologist with exams and simulations.
- Perform equipment calibration per Radiation Safety Officer guidelines.
- Follow radiation safety protocols.
- Document doses, patient history, reactions, and daily logs.
- Complete scheduling, consultation, billing, and required documentation.
- May inject dye markers or administer contrast (with verified competency).
Non-Billable Orientation: 0 hours.
OT/Holiday Multiplier: 1.25x.
All medical/occupational health compliance items must be completed within 5 days of offer acceptance and uploaded to Trio.
