About the Position
Pay Rate: $59.00 - $63.00/Hourly.
Shift: Varied 3x12 - Hour.
Summary:
A Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Technician) performs diagnostic imaging examinations using X-ray equipment to help physicians diagnose and treat medical conditions. The technologist ensures patient safety, produces high-quality radiographic images, and follows radiation protection standards while assisting physicians and maintaining imaging equipment.
Responsibilities:
Positions patient on examining table and adjusts immobilization devices as needed to obtain optimum views of specified area of body requested by Physician.
Must be capable of completing all routine diagnostic procedures.
Moves radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment into specified position and adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance.
Operates film processing equipment.
Operates mobile radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment in operating room emergency room or at patient's bedside.
Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff.
Ability to prioritize and organize daily work flow.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
Basic computer skills.
Requirements
Requirements:
1+ year of current X-Ray Tech experience in a hospital setting Required.
MUST be proficient/highly experience with the following;
Fluoroscopy, Digital Radiography, Portables, & OR c-arm Required.
MUST have experience with ALL ages groups Required.
Previous travel experience - [Preferred]
NH MIRT [REQUIRED]! Temp available with a FAST turnaround for those who carry an equivalent state license.
BLS Certification,
ARRT Certification.
