Communications Specialist

As a Communications Specialist, you will support the development and implementation of communications plans, programs and activities within the Finance and Supply Chain functions. This role serves as a strategic business partner providing counsel and support to functional leadership to ensure impactful communications. The role requires strong writing and communications skills as well as a passion for creativity and innovation.

• Working closely with functional leaders and business partners to develop and implement strategic internal communications plans, campaigns, and initiatives — including delivering on‑brand content and messaging for employees through various mediums and channels (intranet, email, print/digital collateral, video, talking points, articles, town halls, social media).
• Supporting the development and implementation of Finance and Supply Chain communications for C&S’s integration transformation.
• Editing and refining Finance and Supply Chain content for clarity, accuracy, and adherence to AP style, ensuring messages are effective and aligned with Company goals.
• Collaborating with the design team to produce graphics, infographics, and videos that complement editorial content.
• Monitoring industry trends and best practices to recommend new strategies and innovative solutions.
• Working with the Director of Communications and SVP, Communications & Marketing, to ensure consistency with external messaging and strategy, including matters affecting reputation and crisis response.
• Partnering with vendors and consultants, as needed.
• Traveling to team, business partner, and/or Company meetings, as required.

• 2-4 years of experience in Communications, PR, and/or Journalism
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills; knowledge of AP style
• Ability to translate complex information into clear, employee‑friendly messaging
• Experience supporting executive communication and/or leadership messaging preferred
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Creative mindset and a drive to innovate
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, or a related field

• Office temperature: 65°F to 75°F
