Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level III Trauma ICU position in Keene, NH, requiring 2+ years of ICU experience and Epic proficiency.
Responsibilities- 10-bed ICU unit within a Level III Trauma hospital
- Patient population spans adolescent to geriatric
- RN-to-patient ratio of 2:1
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts, 36 hours/week)
- Every other weekend required; holiday coverage required as needed
- May float to PCU
- Epic EMR (required)
- Proficiency with arterial lines, IV drips, ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and vasopressors required
- 13-week contract based in Keene, NH
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration; RTO requests after submission will not be approved, and no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted
- Block scheduling and schedule accommodations cannot be accommodated for this position
- Candidates currently working a concurrent permanent or travel assignment will not be considered
- All medical and occupational health compliance items must be ordered, collected, and resulted within 72 hours of offer acceptance
- Active NH RN license or Compact RN license required
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Current AHA ACLS certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of current ICU experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Arterial line experience required
- Personal vehicle required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Charge nurse and preceptor experience a plus
