About the Role

This position supports the delivery of high‑quality nursing care to residents in assisted living, skilled nursing and memory care units. The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide daily direction and monitor the work of LPNs and nursing assistants, ensure adherence to nursing standards, and maintain communication with the Director of Nursing on assessments, observations and suggestions for improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Provide routine daily direction and monitor the work of LPNs and nursing assistants on the unit.
  • Assist in the orientation of new nursing personnel and reinforce training standards.
  • Motivate LPNs and CNAs assigned to the nursing unit.
  • Provide explanation of nursing procedures and assistance to staff to ensure ongoing understanding and training.
  • Communicate regularly with the Director of Nursing regarding assessments, observations, and suggestions of problem areas.
  • Observe and evaluate residents' health, mental and emotional conditions and communicate significant changes to appropriate staff.
  • Notify the physician and family members according to prescribed procedures when required.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State.
  • One year of nursing experience.
  • Devotion to standards and principles of professional nursing.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to plan and evaluate solutions.
  • Patience, tact, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Genuine compassion for senior adults and the disabled.
  • Human‑relation skills and the ability to monitor and direct the activities of others.
  • Availability to work beyond normal hours, including weekends, holidays, and shift work as needed.
Compensation

#RN Compensation Pay Range: $35.09 - $49.33 per hour.
