Registered Nurse
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide specialized care within the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality patient care while maintaining compliance with hospital standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed, ensuring patient safety.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient conditions, document findings accurately, and escalate concerns as needed.
- Educate patients and family members on health management and post-discharge care.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, infection control standards, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
- Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in Med Surg, IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units.
- Hold an active New Hampshire RN license or a compact state license.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Epic EMR systems and cardiac drip management.
- Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association.
- Willingness to float to Kingsbury as needed and own transportation due to location constraints.
- Experience managing dementia patients and familiarity with NIHSS is highly preferred.
