Job Summary

Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN)

Location:

Cheshire. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in the surgical environment, supporting a diverse patient population across a variety of procedures including orthopedic, trauma, ENT, cataract removal, and cesarean sections. The RN will work within a dedicated surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced hospital setting.

  OR RN needed for an ASAP start, with 40 hours per week and shifts scheduled during daytime hours.
• Required Qualifications:
  
  Valid NH RN License, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in operating room or similar surgical environment, willingness to be trained for ENT, Cataract, and C-section surgeries, and availability for shifts during days, evenings, holidays, and weekends.
• Schedule:
  
  Days, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, starting from 09/28/2026 through 12/26/2026.
• Additional Information:
  The surgical services team supports a wide range of procedures, predominantly orthopedic and trauma cases, with additional services including ENT, cataract removal, and c-sections. The unit features five operating rooms and one labor and delivery operating suite. RN patient ratios are 1:1, and the team includes RN first assistants, surgical technologists, and other assistive personnel. Experience with ENT, Cataract, and C-section surgeries is not required but candidates must be open to training.
