American Traveler is hiring a night shift RN for an all-in-one Labor & Delivery unit requiring proficiency across delivery, postpartum, and newborn care.
Details- All-in-one L&D unit providing care across delivery, mother/baby, postpartum, nursery, and newborn resuscitation
- Midwife-led team approach emphasizing low-intervention, natural birth support
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 48 hours per week
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
- On-call requirements to be determined
- Block scheduling and 36-hour schedules are not available for this position
- Epic EMR used
- Active NH RN license or Compact license required
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required
- Current NRP certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
- Postpartum and Mother/Baby care experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- AWHONN certification within the past 3 years preferred
- Candidate must have their own vehicle
- Provide nursing care to patients from infancy through adulthood, individualizing care based on age-related growth and development in accordance with nursing standards of care and practice
- Must work two holiday blocks if scheduled:
Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and the following weekend, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the following weekend, and New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and the following weekend - No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted, and all time off requests must be submitted and verified prior to offer
- Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
- All medical and occupational health compliance items must be completed within 5 days of offer acceptance
