American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit position requiring telemetry experience and NIH Stroke Certification.
Details- Mixed-acuity progressive care unit providing medical, surgical, and stepdown level of care
- 39-bed unit with a primarily elderly patient population, though patients as young as 18 may be cared for
- RN patient ratios of 4:1 or 5:1 depending on patient acuity
- 12-hour night shifts, 48 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- Rotating holiday coverage required
- Active NH RN license or Compact RN license required, with proof of state residency
- Current BLS certification required
- NIH Stroke Certification required prior to consideration
- Minimum of 1.5 years of recent equivalent experience required
- Telemetry experience required
- Cardizem and Amiodarone drip experience required
- Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required
- Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for consideration
