• LTD / CIS: 34.12/hour
  - First 37 Hours
• 35.87/hour
  - After 37 Hours / First 4 Hours Saturday
• 38.65/hour
  - After 4 Hours Saturday / Sunday / Bank Holidays

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter for a long‑term contract opportunity with our client on the Moray West / Black hillock project.

This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically qualified fitter with substation, power generation, oil & gas, or heavy industrial installation experience to join a major energy infrastructure project.

Please note:

A Telehandler ticket is essential for this role.

You will be working as part of the client’s site team, supporting mechanical installation activities on a major substation project. Reporting directly to the Site Supervisor / Chargehand, you will play a key role in ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

• Carry out mechanical installation activities as directed by site management
• Work in line with all Siemens Energy QEHS procedures and site safety requirements
• Support site supervisors and charge hands with daily installation activities
• Proactively complete allocated task cards within required project timescales
  
  Highlight any potential delays or issues in advance
• Maintain compliance with health & safety, environmental, and quality standards
• Assist with project documentation where required
• Ensure accurate submission of timesheets and associated paperwork

• National Grid Person
• Apprentice trained OR NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in a relevant mechanical discipline
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working on electricity supply industry construction sites or similar environments
• NPORS or CPCS Telehandler ticket

• CSCS Card or CCNSG Safety Passport
• Manual Handling
• Working at Height
• Fire Safety Awareness

• Experience working under National Grid / SSE / SPEN standards

• Ability to work independently when required
• Solution‑focused approach
