Position: Lead Admin / Assistant Director

Sylvan Learning is looking for a highly organized, dependable, and people-oriented professional to join our leadership support team as a full-time Lead Admin / Assistant Director.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with families, managing day-to-day operations, staying organized in a fast-paced environment, and being part of a team that helps students succeed.

This is not just a front desk position, this role plays an important part in supporting center operations, communication, scheduling, and the overall student and family experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage student and staff scheduling
• Support daily center operations and front desk activities
• Communicate with parents regarding attendance, scheduling, and student support
• Assist with inquiries and customer service
• Help coordinate instructional flow and classroom readiness
• Maintain organization of student records and systems
• Support center leadership with administrative and operational tasks
• Help create a positive, welcoming environment for students and families

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and team mindset
• Education, childcare, tutoring, office administration, or customer service experience preferred
• Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus

Position Details

• Full-time position
• Primarily Monday-Friday schedule with some Saturdays as needed
• Paid training provided
• Growth opportunity available for the right candidate

Compensation

Starting at $16/hour based on experience and qualifications.
