Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry! We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a key position within our organization:
Dental Lab Technician Trainee at NDX Keller in Fenton, MO
.

The regular hours for this position are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

This is a full‑time position featuring employee benefits including: health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance; paid holiday, vacation, and sick time; 401K with company contribution; and tuition reimbursement!

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position
  • Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist
  • Place completed computer work cards on proper case pans, reviewing doctor, product and finish date information for correctness
  • Disinfect all case components using the appropriate disinfection procedure
  • Pour models from impressions received from doctors in the proper material
  • Number all models and impressions with case number
  • Place models on appropriate type of articulator using correct technique
  • Articulate models by using bites sent by doctor or hand articulating to correct bite relationship
  • Check case for correct doctor information, finish date, product, metal type, and fabrication questions that need to be called on the next day
  • Clean work area daily
  • All other duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities

Required
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Excellent eye‑hand coordination and manual dexterity
  • Detail oriented
Minimum Education and Experience Required
  • Preferred:
    High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • No experience required
Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used
  • Coping Saws
  • Steamers
  • Accelerator
  • Glue
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
