Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Keller, operating together with Lifepoint Health and Texas Health Resources, is dedicated to prioritizing your well‑being so you can deliver exceptional patient care. As a PTA, you will support physical therapy teams, assist with patient scheduling and documentation, and help patients and their families follow care plans to achieve better outcomes.

• Communicate patient progress or concerns to supervisors and team members.
• Assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records.
• Document patient care in accordance with People First, regulatory, licensing, payer and accreditation requirements.
• Instruct patients’ families or nursing staff in follow‑through programs.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
• Make presentations to support marketing efforts, team conferences, and in‑services.
• Perform duties in accordance with the company’s Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, professional standards, and state/federal laws.

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program with an associate’s degree.
• Current and valid state PTA license (or equivalent) in the state(s) where services are rendered.
• CPR certification when required.

The hospital is a 36‑bed inpatient rehabilitation facility serving the Keller, TX community. We provide comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs that include stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury care.
