Speech-Language Pathologist
Delivering speech-language pathology (SLP) services to patients in accordance with the principles of speech-language therapy and Reliant Rehabilitation's standards. Foster positive relationships with clients and facility staff while providing high-quality care, including patient screening and evaluation, development and implementation of treatment plans, discharge planning, and case management. Uphold professional conduct that reflects Reliant Rehabilitation's commitment to excellence and comply with all applicable state and federal regulations.
Key responsibilities include improving patients' communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing abilities through direct provision and oversight of speech therapy; contributing to the development and sustainability of a robust SLP program; strengthening clinical, professional, and leadership skills through collaboration, self-study, and continuing education; maintaining a valid state license and staying informed on developments in speech-language pathology and the healthcare environment; applying knowledge of relevant billing models and treatment guidelines to ensure care meets clinical and regulatory standards;
delivering care that aligns with treatment goals and produces meaningful outcomes; adhering to infection control and environmental safety protocols within the facility; demonstrating proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English for effective communication and documentation; maintaining confidentiality as appropriate and ensuring compliance with the state practice act in the state(s) where you are licensed.
Qualifications include a Master's degree (or equivalent) in Speech-Language Pathology and a valid Speech-Language Pathologist state license.
