Job Title: Industrial Sign Painter.
Location: Cedar Hill, TX.
1st & 2nd Shifts.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Sign Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in either auto body painting or industrial painting and demonstrate expertise in the use of professional-grade paint equipment. This position is crucial to maintaining the quality and aesthetics of our products, ensuring that all signs meet the highest standards of durability and appearance.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming materials to ensure proper paint adhesion.
- Apply paints, clear coats, and finishes to signs using precision techniques and equipment.
- Operate and maintain a personal paint gun and related painting tools.
- Mix and match paints to achieve desired colors and finishes.
- Follow technical specifications and blueprints to meet design requirements.
- Inspect painted surfaces for quality, ensuring no defects, inconsistencies, or imperfections.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and production schedules.
- Proven experience in auto body painting or industrial painting (no residential or commercial painting).
- Ability to operate and maintain personal paint gun and related painting equipment.
- Knowledge of surface preparation techniques, paint application methods, and drying processes.
- Attention to detail with a focus on achieving high-quality finishes.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move heavy materials.
- Familiarity with safety standards and practices related to industrial painting.
- Experience with large-scale industrial sign production.
- Knowledge of different paint types (e.g., enamel, polyurethane, epoxy).
- Certification in industrial painting or related field.
