Overview
Texas Oncology is looking for a Nurse Supervisor (RN) to join our team! This position will support the Keller Cancer Center location (9750 Hillwood Parkway, Fort Worth, TX 76177). This is a full-time Monday‑Friday position with no weekends, calls, or major holidays. Hours are 8:30a‑5:00p. Travel to Bedford and/or Grapevine as market and leadership needs arise.

Coordinates all activities related to nursing functions and patient care, within budgetary constraints. Adheres to national and company standards and guidelines for specialty regulations. Supervises nursing staff that provides professional nursing care to patients. Recognizes physical, psychological, and spiritual aspects of care. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
- Clinical Oversight – Oversees clinical operations for all nursing clinical support activities.
- Ensure adequate staffing/FTEs for assigned clinics.
- Maintains effective nursing staff coverage and operating costs within budgetary parameters.
- Ensure clinical operations consistent with organizational objectives.
- Monitors and evaluates patient satisfaction and quality assurance measures.
- Staff Development – Coordinates, implements, and assists with staff training, in‑services, and internal development programs.
- Assists with annual performance evaluations for nursing department staff.
- Serves as mentor/preceptor providing day‑to‑day guidance to less experienced nurses.
- Other duties as assigned.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN or MSN preferred). RN state license and current registration with the state board of nursing in the practicing state. Minimum 5 years of active practice as a registered nurse, including at least 3 years in oncology. Preferred: 1 year of leadership experience. Current CPR certification required. Current or pending oncology certification preferred. Strong time management, multitasking, strategic planning, and interdepartmental collaboration skills.

Traditional office environment. Exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medical preparations, and other conditions common to an oncology clinic environment.
Physical RequirementsLarge percent of time performing computer‑based work. Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye‑hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods; occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 lbs. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
