Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Keller is a state‑of‑the‑art, 36‑bed inpatient acute rehabilitation facility. We offer customized, individualized care for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation and orthopedic injuries.

As a dialysis nurse you will partner with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality dialysis care. Your responsibilities include:

• Coordinating patient care across departments and assisting physicians.
• Overseeing medical and surgical patients who require dialysis procedures.
• Assessing patients, identifying problems, implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes.
• Administering dialysis admission assessments, medication, IV therapy, blood products, pain control, O2 therapy, and supporting physicians with procedures such as Quinton cath placement, dressing changes and catheter management.
• Accessing AV shunts for diagnostic tests (e.g., venograms) and monitoring patients during Hemoreplacement treatment.

• Plan and intervene with patient care, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Document all aspects of patient care.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient and family.
• Evaluate the assessment, planning and intervention process.
• Demonstrate professional and personal development.
• Deliver direct patient care to adults and geriatric patients.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients.

• Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a rehabilitative or acute care setting.
• Current Texas state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• CPR/BCLS and ACLS certifications required.
