The Infusion Nurse is a full-time, on-site role based at the Be Well Primary Care clinic in Keller, TX. This role is responsible for providing safe and effective intravenous therapies, including medication administration, hydration, and other infusion treatments in accordance with provider orders and clinical protocols. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing patients before and after infusions, initiating and monitoring IV access, documenting all care accurately, and educating patients and families about treatment plans, potential side effects, and home care instructions.
The Infusion Nurse collaborates closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinic staff to coordinate care, maintain infection control standards, and respond appropriately to adverse reactions or changes in patient status. Additional duties may include managing infusion supplies, supporting quality improvement initiatives, and promoting a positive, patient-centered experience in line with the clinic’s mission and values.
- Strong clinical background in Nursing, with current RN license in the state of Texas and familiarity with primary care or ambulatory care settings.
- Knowledge of Medicine and Critical Care Medicine principles relevant to infusion therapies, including monitoring for adverse reactions and escalation of care.
- Experience with Home Infusion and in-clinic infusion services, including IV insertion, medication administration, and adherence to infusion protocols.
- Demonstrated ability in Direct Patient Care, including assessment, care planning, patient education, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred) and strong adherence to infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple patients and tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment.

- Prior infusion nursing, hospital, or critical care experience is highly beneficial;
