Scope of PositionThis Quality Assurance Technician will provide on‑site inspection, data collection, and process support within our Chemical and Optical Components (COC) quality organization. The role ensures that products meet design specifications, reviews inspection plans, and collaborates with cross‑functional teams to resolve non‑conformance.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities- Perform incoming inspection of products and materials at Keller Distribution Center.
- Inspect work conducted within the COC facility and other relevant locations.
- Support other components of the Continuous Manufacturing (CM) organization with quality inspection and system work.
- Screen, adjust, and repair components to support containment and remediation activities.
- Collect and maintain quality data, including inspection plans and SAP μεγά quality modules, ETQ, Excel, or similar systems.
- Assist with warehousing processes as needed to enable quality‑related tasks.
- Provide coaching and verification support to temporary staff on inspection and quality systems.
- Participate in root‑cause analysis and corrective actions for quality and process non‑conformance issues.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years of experience in quality inspection or a related field.
- Proficient with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and technical drawings.
- Experience with ERP/MRP or Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) for data management.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Ability to handle and position larger components (e.g., antennas up to ~50 lbs) safely.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Demonstrated experience with visual defect inspection and assembly quality.
- Self‑starter with collaborative working style.
- Standing or walking for 6‑7 hours daily.
- Lift up to 40 lbs and stand or sit for extended periods.
- Occasional travel (≤5%) for training or project work.
- Work may involve exposure to chemicals, oils, and non‑disagreeable substances.
- Personal protective equipment required: ear protection hair safety shoes and glasses.
Salary range: $69,091 – $95,001 (full‑time, based on location, experience, and qualification sips). Note that this position does not offer immigration sponsorship.
