Merchandise and Stocking Associate

Position Summary

Do you like to work on your feet and keep things neat and organized? Our merchandising and stocking associates connect all of the dots to make sure members can find everything they have on their shopping list. Depending on the shift you work, your job could include moving inventory in the backroom, unloading trucks, fulfilling club pick‑up orders or helping members while stocking shelves.

This fast‑paced job can be physically demanding – it’s like being paid to go to the gym.

• Move inventory in the backroom, unload trucks, and fulfill club pick‑up orders.
• Stock shelves, sort products, and maintain an orderly sales floor.
• Engage with vendors, drivers, and members with a positive attitude.
• Conduct safety sweeps, follow forklift spotting procedures, and handle hazardous materials safely.
• Monitor food and merchandise quality, ensuring product rotation, code dating, and sanitation standards.
• Assist members with product location, purchasing decisions, and self‑service technology.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and member‑ready environment.

• Prior experience in merchandising, stocking, or retail preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry boxes and other heavy objects weighing more than 25 pounds.
• Strong organizational skills and an eye for detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and adapting quickly to change.
• Problem‑solving ability and a focus on quality and safety.

• Hourly wage range: $17.00 – $25.00 per hour.
• Additional compensation: premiums of $0.35 – $3.00 per hour for specific work performed.
