Business Development Representative

Penguin Patch seeks a Business Development Representative to grow our holiday shop programs with elementary schools. In this retail-focused sales role, you'll prospect and qualify schools, build relationships with principals and parent groups, and present our kid-friendly holiday shop solutions. You'll manage a sales pipeline, conduct outbound calls and virtual meetings, and collaborate with marketing and operations to ensure smooth program launches.

Ideal candidates bring 1-2 years of sales or customer-facing experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for supporting schools, families, and fun, festive experiences for kids.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify elementary schools and districts for Penguin Patch holiday shop programs.
• Conduct outreach via calls, email, and virtual meetings to build relationships with school decision-makers.
• Present Penguin Patch solutions, pricing, and program benefits to school staff and parent groups.
• Manage and update sales pipeline, CRM records, and follow-up activities to meet or exceed targets.
• Collaborate with marketing and operations to support campaigns and ensure smooth program setup for schools.
• Gather feedback from schools to improve offerings and share insights with the Sales & Business Development team.
• Represent Penguin Patch with a friendly, kid-focused, community-driven approach on every interaction.
