Administrative Assistant - Kellogg

Maul Foster & Alongi, Inc. (MFA) is looking for a full-time Administrative Assistant to support our Kellogg office. This is an entry-level opportunity with real responsibility and room to grow. This role goes beyond traditional administrative work. You will serve as the hub of the office, helping track projects, support field logistics, polish deliverables, and contribute to the culture that defines our Kellogg team.

As

an Administrative Assistant, you will…

Start your day checking in on project timelines, coordinating with project managers, and helping the team stay aligned on priorities. You'll keep documents organized, assist with formatting reports, and help prepare deliverables before they head out the door. You'll see projects move from draft to final and know you played a part in making them successful.

Throughout the week, you may help coordinate logistics for upcoming field work, prepare materials for site activities, or support equipment organization. Some days will be steady and office-focused. Others will involve stepping outside your desk to help the team get ready for what’s next.

You’ll also be part of what makes the Kellogg office run smoothly. That might mean helping coordinate a team lunch, supporting a small celebration, or simply being the steady presence who keeps things organized behind the scenes. In this role, you’ll gain insight into how environmental projects move from planning to the field and grow your understanding of the industry from the inside.

To

thrive in this role…

You don’t need years of experience to succeed, but you do need strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to take ownership of your work. A strong foundation in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is essential. Experience with SharePoint or Adobe tools such as Photoshop or InDesign is a plus but not required.

You communicate clearly, follow through consistently, and are comfortable managing multiple priorities. You are also open to occasionally heading out of the office to support field logistics, including driving on rural or back roads when needed.

If you enjoy learning new systems, supporting a team and growing into greater responsibilities over time you will do well here. This position offers long-term growth potential into a Project Administrator role.
