Position OverviewNASCO Industrial Services & Supply LLC is seeking an experienced, safety-focused, and results-driven Core Drilling Supervisor to lead drilling operations and oversee field personnel on drilling projects. This position is responsible for managing day-to-day drilling activities, ensuring operational excellence, maintaining strict safety compliance, and delivering projects on schedule and within budget.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Direct and supervise daily core drilling operations and drilling crews at project sites.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to customer requirements and specifications.
- Maintain a strong safety culture and enforce company policies.
- Develop work schedules and coordinate manpower, equipment, and resources.
- Monitor drilling performance and project progress.
- Troubleshoot operational and equipment issues.
- Prepare reports and drilling logs.
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, geologists, and suppliers.
- Mentor and develop drilling personnel.
- 5+ years drilling experience including supervision.
- Knowledge of core drilling methods and equipment.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Ability to read drilling plans and specifications.
- Valid driver license with acceptable driving record and ability to travel.
- MSHA certifications.
- First Aid/CPR.
- Experience managing multiple rigs.
- Work outdoors in varying conditions.
- Lift and move equipment.
- Work rotational schedules and overtime.
