Position: Out-Patient Scheduling Clerk Services
Support patient appointment scheduling at Kelowna Community Health and Services Centre as an Out-Patient Scheduling Booking Clerk. This casual position offers variety and a chance for professional growth.

In this role, you will be responsible for a range of clerical tasks that include scheduling out-patient appointments, serving as a receptionist, and executing data entry tasks. As a casual employee, you will enjoy flexibility in your hours and the opportunity to transition into more permanent roles with experience. Your typing skills and understanding of medical terminology will be essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and manage out-patient appointments for healthcare needs

• Perform receptionist duties, including answering calls

• Accurately input data and maintain filing systems

• Complete typing tasks efficiently and requisition needed supplies

• Provide general clerical support to the healthcare team

Requirements:

• Must possess a Medical Terminology Certificate

• Successful typing test (45+ NWPM) within the last 48 months

• At least two years of recent relevant experience or equivalent

• Availability for flexible and casual shifts on short notice

• Attention to detail and effective communication skills
