Join the City of Penticton's Bylaw Services as a Bylaw Complaint Administrator. This role emphasizes customer service and administrative tasks in managing bylaw intake.
As the Bylaw Intake Administrator, you will support the Bylaw Manager and be the initial contact for incoming bylaw complaints. Your responsibilities will include collecting information, communicating with residents, and assigning cases for investigation. A strong focus on customer service, positive attitude, and multi-tasking skills are essential for handling diverse inquiries and coordinating with officers in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
• Gather vital information from complainants
• Assign files for enforcement follow-up
• Manage public inquiries via phone and counter
• Prepare statistical reports for monthly operations
• Conduct safety checks for officers in the field
Requirements:
• Relevant Office Administration education
• Minimum one year in bylaw services
• Three years dealing with the public
• Five years in an administrative role
• Valid Criminal Record Check required
Support bylaw enforcement effectively while enhancing community engagement in Penticton.
