Location: peachland
Join Peachland Seniors’ Support Society as a Clerk in Housing Services and Accounting. This full-time role requires a hands-on approach, combining financial tasks with tenant engagements.
As a key team member, you'll support the Housing Manager in maintaining our community-oriented affordable housing. Your responsibilities will revolve around precise financial documentation, compliance with reporting requirements, and fostering a vibrant environment for seniors. A calm demeanor during busy periods is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
• Prepare and process financial statements and reports
• Interact with tenants as their first point of contact
• Coordinate move-ins and monitor housing inspections
• Assist in organizing office and Board documents
Requirements:
• 2–3 years of accounting or administrative experience
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication
• Proficient in Sage, Arcori, and Excel applications
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Must hold a valid BC Driver's License
