Reporting to the Scheduling Manager, you'll focus on filling short-call and long-call shifts and managing staffing effectively. Your ability to maintain accurate schedules and communicate well with the team promotes safety and respect in our work environment. Your proactive approach will contribute significantly to the operational success of our communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and manage staff schedules
• Fill vacation and short-call shifts quickly
• Keep in touch with team members regularly
• Manage computerized scheduling systems
• Conduct audits of schedules for accuracy
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education minimum
• 2+ years in scheduling, healthcare preferred
• Familiarity with collective agreements
• Typing speed of at least 50 wpm
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
