Westbank First Nation seeks an organized Funding Coordinator to enhance grant opportunities and funding management. This role involves grant research, application writing, and strategic partnership collaboration.
As a Funding Coordinator, you will support the Funding Manager in maximizing available grants for WFN. Your responsibilities include tracking grant requests, maintaining databases, and ensuring adherence to funding reporting requirements. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in grant writing and a knowledge of federal and provincial funding programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and communicate funding opportunities to department managers
• Track and manage grant applications and their statuses
• Assist with preparing necessary financial reports for teams
• Collaborate with Finance to address funding gaps
• Maintain records management and streamline reporting processes
Requirements:
• Post Secondary Degree in Business or related field
• 2 years experience in grant writing and research
• Knowledge of financial reporting systems
• Acceptable criminal record and credit checks
• Confidentiality in all dealings with WFN
