The Osoyoos Indian Band is looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper who will maintain financial accuracy and adhere to the Band’s Financial Administration Manual. This role requires proficiency in GAAP, along with effective management of accounts payable and receivable processes. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage general ledger updates with accounting software

• Record accurate journal entries according to GAAP

• Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts

• Assist in payroll processing and related documentation

• Support budgeting through thorough data analysis

Requirements:

• At least 2–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience

• Educational background in Accounting or Finance

• Skillful in Sage 300 and Microsoft Excel

• Understanding of First Nations financial structures

• Strong analytical abilities and communication skills
