Position: Catering Manager at Oak View Group

This dynamic role involves overseeing food and beverage operations for diverse events at top venues, including the South Okanagan Events Centre. Your responsibilities will include managing client relationships, supervising event execution, and leading a dedicated service team. A blend of strong leadership and organizational skills is essential to thrive in this fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong client relationships for events

• Lead and coordinate catering operations and service

• Recruit, train, and mentor service staff for excellence

• Manage budgets and control food and labor costs

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• 3–5 years in food and beverage management

• Background in catering or hospitality preferred

• Strong relationship-building skills with clients

• Food-safe and Serving It Right certification required

• Flexibility for early mornings, late nights, and weekends
