Seasonal Valet Attendant

Position Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the Valet Attendant at Eldorado Resort serves as a guest liaison and ambassador for both hotel and non-hotel services. They are an information center for our guests, regardless of whether inquiries concern in-hotel or off-premises attractions, facilities, services, or activities. The Valet Attendant knows how to provide concise and accurate directions. They are responsible for providing courteous, prompt, professional and attentive guest service meeting hotel standards at all times.

You will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standard:

• Parking and retrieving guest vehicles
• Assisting guests in removing or loading luggage into their vehicle
• Being knowledgeable of all hotel facilities and services, and promoting and directing guests to these areas
• Being knowledgeable of the Kelowna area and able to give directions to guests on how to find locations in the city
• Maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism
• Keeping the lobby, the front of the hotel and public areas clean and clear of clutter and/or debris; reporting any significant deficiencies to either the housekeeping or maintenance departments
• Other duties as required

• Have held a valid BC class 5 driver's license for 15 years+
• Ability to drive automatic and manual vehicles
• Flexible hours to include evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work as a team player
  
  Must have excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
• Ability to be on feet for extended periods
• Physically fit, able to lift heavy baggage
