Lead tasting room hospitality at Tinhorn Creek Vineyards in British Columbia’s South Okanagan, using people leadership and service expertise.
As Retail & Experience Manager, you will lead retail, tasting room, guest experience and event operations. Build an engaged hospitality team through recruiting, coaching and development. Set service standards, support wine education and collaborate with Winemaking and Marketing. Drive sales across wine, memberships, merchandise, tours, experiences and events while maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead daily operations, scheduling, delegation and staffing decisions
Recruit, onboard, coach and develop hospitality team members
Champion welcoming service across retail, tasting room and events
Develop sales strategies across wine, memberships and experiences
Maintain safety, compliance and continuous operational improvement
Requirements:
Proven experience managing teams, performance and accountability
People-first approach to motivation, development and challenges
Hospitality, tourism, food and beverage or luxury retail experience
Commercial awareness across sales, revenue, budgets or operations
Strong communication, relationship-building and operational skills
Bring management fundamentals, hospitality leadership and a willingness to learn wine while shaping memorable Tinhorn Creek experiences.
