Kinetic (Penticton) is hiring a Human Resources Coordinator to support daily HR operations inside our manufacturing environment. This is not a general office support role. You will work closely with Operations, Production Leadership, and Finance to ensure employee records, payroll inputs, certifications, onboarding, and benefits administration are accurate, organized, and compliant.
This role is ideal for an HR Coordinator/HR Administrator who is ready to take ownership of core HR coordination in a structured, process-driven environment.

Work locationOn-site in an industrial manufacturing environment (PPE required when entering shop areas)
Key Responsibilities HR & Employee Administration- Maintain accurate and confidential employee files (digital and physical)
- Track employee certifications, training records, and required compliance documentation
- Monitor expiry dates and proactively communicate upcoming renewals
- Support document control for HR policies, forms, and templates (SharePoint and internal systems)
- Prepare employment documentation including offer letters, employment agreements, onboarding packages, and status change letters
- Coordinate Day 1 onboarding processes across shop, site, and office roles
- Prepare onboarding checklists and ensure completion of required documentation
- Support recruitment coordination including scheduling interviews and maintaining candidate records
- Assist with offboarding documentation and final paperwork processing
- Support payroll processing by reviewing timecards, checking data for accuracy, and assisting with employee payroll questions
- Prepare and organize payroll-related documentation and records
- Assist with benefits and leave administration by distributing forms, maintaining trackers, and filing documentation confidentially
- Work alongside HR and Finance to ensure payroll and benefits processes run smoothly
- Maintain controlled versions of HR forms and templates in Share Point
- Assist with HR communications such as policy reminders, training notices, and announcements
- Order and track office and administrative supplies, maintaining inventory trackers and reorder points.
- Promote company safety culture and follow PPE requirements when accessing production areas.
- Formal HR education/training required (HR diploma/degree, CPHR coursework, or equivalent recognized HR training)
- 2-3+ years of experience in a Human Resources role
- Experience supporting payroll preparation or benefits administration
- Strong understanding of document control and confidential record management
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, SharePoint, Teams)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Clear written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interacting with shop-floor and office employees
- Professionalism, discretion, and reliability
- Experience administering full-cycle payroll in a manufacturing, construction, or multi-shift environment.
- Familiarity with Canadian payroll legislation, statutory deductions, and Record of Employment (ROE) processes.
- Experience maintaining training matrices or certification tracking systems
- Exposure to HRIS or payroll systems
- Pay: $65,000 - 80,000, based on experience
