Roles and Responsibilities

Project manage our current forest planning and operations business lines. We want you to be more of a PM and Mentor than a Senior Technician. You will handle timelines, logistics, and mentoring the crew in the office to complete deliverables. Field time will mainly be a mentoring role with new hires and senior techs on challenging ground. You will develop project plans, safety, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations, and focus on creating, growing, and mentoring your team.

Additionally, you will assist with new business development initiatives and expansion of existing business lines.

Oversee projects ranging from multiphase layout and engineering to wildfire planning and operational supervision. Work with major licensees—KLC, Atco, Interfor, and BCTS—as well as Ministry of Forest resources departments such as Compliance and Enforcement, Recreation Sites and Trails BC, Stewardship, and Engineering.
