As Manager of OHS Investigations at WorkSafeBC, you will oversee operations, guiding your team to conduct comprehensive investigations of workplace injuries and fatalities.
Your role involves establishing processes to support the strategic objectives of the Prevention Services Division and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage OHS Investigations team operations and activities
• Develop and implement departmental business plans
• Monitor investigations for quality assurance and improvement
• Provide guidance on investigative processes and policies
• Implement business improvement projects within the division
Requirements:
• University degree in criminology, law, or health science
• Minimum five years in a leadership role overseeing investigations
• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety regulations
• Strong partnership skills with external agencies
• Commitment to service and client satisfaction
