Counter Sales Representative  We are looking for an energetic, customer‑focused self‑starter to join our team in Penticton, BC. You will be responsible for greeting customers, selling a diversified line of automotive aftermarket parts, and ensuring a high level of customer service.

Daily Contribution & Impact   Greet all customers (in person or over the phone) with a positive, engaging and welcoming attitude.
Sell and support a diversified line of products via phone, fax, email and over‑the‑counter, promoting private brands and e‑commerce channels whenever possible.
Deliver a high level of customer service, support promotions and upsell opportunities.
Handle customer transactions including sales, returns and defectives in a timely manner.
Ensure customers’ parts orders are accurately filled and delivered efficiently.
Reconcile transaction history and drawer at the conclusion of each shift.
Operate the store point‑of‑sale system (Parts Watch), internet and paper catalogue to search for parts and customer accounts, and to invoice and pull orders.
Assist with merchandising activities, maintain standards of appearance, coordinate and cooperate with team members in the execution of plan‑o‑grams, overall product presentation, inventory management, signage and various product initiatives to enhance the customer experience and maximize inventory turns.
Follow all policies and standard operating procedures related to cash, credit, checks, refunds and returns.
Work with management to react to customer service issues, complaints and business opportunities.
Contribute proactively to improvements in branch sales and profitability.
Adhere to inventory control programs, in‑stock standards and all operating procedures.
Communicate effectively with all store and support‑center team members, management and customers.
Carry out other store support duties, including supporting warehouse functions and delivery/pickup of product as required.
Maintain the “Never Say No” attitude and serve as an ambassador for the Bumper to Bumper brand.
Assist other team members when required.
Qualifications   Minimum 1 year of experience in the automotive aftermarket (jobber) parts industry.
Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to sell private‑brand and e‑commerce products.
Proficiency with point‑of‑sale systems and inventory management.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
