Overview
Join PRI as a Senior Biologist in Kelowna or Surrey, BC, and support critical environmental projects. Leverage your leadership in wildlife ecology and project management in this agile role. We are seeking an experienced Senior Biologist to enhance our Environmental Group in British Columbia.
This position offers opportunities for field and office work, providing vital support across various industrial sectors, including forestry and renewable energy. Ideal candidates will possess robust skills in terrestrial ecology, wildlife biology, and proven project management experience.
Key Responsibilities- Design and coordinate field studies for wildlife and ecosystems
- Analyze ecological data for environmental assessments
- Prepare technical reports compliant with regulations
- Liaise with clients, agencies, and Indigenous communities
- Mentor junior staff and support business development
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Ecology, or related field
- Qualified Biologist designation (R.P.Bio or P.Biol)
- 10+ years of relevant experience in consulting
- Leadership and mentoring skills
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and vehicle access
