Senior Biologist

Position: Senior Biologist Role and
Explore an exciting career as a Senior Biologist with PRI, located in Kelowna or Surrey, BC. Contribute to environmental projects while utilizing your expertise in terrestrial and wildlife ecology.

This role invites experienced biologists to join PRI's growing Environmental Group. Candidates should bring a minimum of 10 years in consulting, fieldwork, and strong project management skills. Work will include field studies, data analysis, report preparation, and collaboration with stakeholders, supporting diverse projects across various sectors in British Columbia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and coordinate field studies in terrestrial ecosystems

• Analyze ecological data for environmental assessments

• Prepare technical reports and adhere to regulatory compliance

• Liaise with clients and Indigenous communities for project approvals

• Lead multi-disciplinary project teams and manage deliverables

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Biology or related field

• R.P.Bio or P.Biol designation with 10+ years of experience

• Strong leadership and mentoring skills

• Experience in environmental assessments and proposal writing

• Valid Class 5 driver's license for fieldwork travel
