JDS Energy & Mining seeks a Site Environmental Lead dedicated to maintaining compliance across mining properties and exploration activities. Drive environmental management and partner with various stakeholders.
As the Site Environmental Lead, you'll be responsible for coordinating environmental activities and compliance documentation while supporting field programs.
Your role will involve working collaboratively with site personnel, contractors, and technical leads to ensure commitments are met effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage environmental monitoring and inspection programs
• Track compliance obligations and regulatory deadlines
• Prepare environmental documentation and reports
• Collaborate on spill response and wildlife management
• Facilitate consultant and contractor coordination
Requirements:
• Degree in Environmental Science or related field
• 5-10 years of experience in environmental consulting or mining
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Must travel between multiple sites
• Valid driver's license required
