We are seeking a dedicated Rehab Miner responsible for various duties in underground environments, including operating drills for rehabilitation work and installing ground support systems. You will play a key role in maintaining safety standards, performing equipment inspections, and collaborating with team members to reach daily operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform scaling, mucking, and rehabilitation tasks
• Operate jackleg and stoper drills for projects
• Install and repair ground support systems effectively
• Assist in development-related tasks and inspections
• Communicate with supervisors to meet operational needs
Requirements:
• Ontario Underground Hard Rock Common Core certification
• Ability to read ground support plans accurately
• Strong understanding of safety practices in rehabilitation
• Willingness for pre-access testing prior to employment
• Ability to work independently or as a team
Ensure safety, quality, and productivity while contributing to underground rehabilitation efforts in this critical role.
