As a Trades Helper, your primary responsibilities will include performing grounds maintenance tasks while aiding skilled tradespeople. You should have practical experience with manual and powered tools to efficiently handle tasks like grass cutting and snow/ice removal. Reliability for overtime work and adaptability to various weather conditions are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute grounds maintenance tasks including landscaping

• Clear snow and ice from sidewalks and roads

• Operate skid steers and dump trucks to assist in various tasks

• Perform simple repairs for fences and paved surfaces

• Help tradespeople with maintenance activities

Requirements:

• Proven experience within a labor or trades environment

• Skilled in using hand and power tools

• Ability to lift and carry 30 kilograms

• Valid Provincial driver’s licence needed

• Willingness to work in challenging conditions
