Join Novacom as a Site Assistant / Carpenter on the exciting McDonald's construction project in Penticton, BC. This hands-on role requires dedication to support efficient site operations from August to the end of October 2026.

This position with Novacom, a forward-thinking commercial contractor, is ideal for motivated individuals in the construction field. Collaborate with the Site Superintendent to ensure safe, on-schedule progress through carpentry tasks and effective site maintenance. Strong communication and organization skills are necessary to support trade coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide site support to the Site Superintendent

• Execute carpentry and general maintenance tasks

• Organize the site for trade efficiency

• Follow up with trades to confirm readiness

• Perform daily safety inspections in line with COR

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of relevant construction experience

• Carpentry certification or apprenticeship is an asset

• Strong hands-on knowledge of tools and techniques

• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills

• Reliable transportation to reach the Penticton site
