Join IMP Aerospace & Defence as an Aircraft Structures Technician in Greenwood, NS. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive in-service support to CH-149 helicopters through repair and maintenance expertise.
As a key player in the Main Operating Base, you will execute essential servicing duties, including aircraft repairs, ramp operations, and damage assessments. Your technical skills will be vital in maintaining aircraft safety and reliability. Participate in training and development opportunities as you work alongside skilled professionals in a collaborative setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out repairs on aircraft structural components
• Support pre/post flight operations on ramp
• Control corrosion and perform modifications
• Provide training and supervision to team members
• Ensure a clean, safe work environment
Requirements:
• Current Aircraft Maintenance Engineer license
• At least 3 years of experience in aviation maintenance
• Skilled in reading technical manuals and blueprints
• Knowledgeable in corrosion control methods
• Able to meet security clearance requirements
