Field Service Technician - Water Systems BC

We are presently seeking a full-time Field Service Technician to join our team in the Okanagan, British Columbia Canada. The role involves servicing water treatment systems, primarily water filtration equipment located in grocery stores. Technicians in this role are required to travel more than 40% of the time and be willing to travel by air and vehicle.

• Deliver, install and maintain water treatment equipment;
• Routinely change water filters, clean and sanitize equipment, change UV bulbs and clear water lines;
• Conduct quarterly and monthly maintenance visits, as well as emergency calls to maintain equipment in British Columbia. The successful candidate must reside in the following cities:
  Vernon, Kelowna, Penticton, from BC, Canada;
• Perform diagnostics and analysis to trouble‑shoot and repair water treatment equipment;
• Complete work orders and paperwork related to tasks in an accurate and timely manner;
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment;
• Communicate in a positive manner with customers and co‑workers and maintain positive public relations for the company;
• Responsible for following company and customer safety policies and procedures.

• 3-5 years of related technical or installation experience with water treatment equipment an asset; plumbing experience preferred;
• Able to accommodate a flexible work schedule;
• Valid driver’s license;
• Strong organizational and time management skills;
• Proactive rather than reactive with ability to problem solve;
• Physical requirements include ability to bend, squat, walk with heavy equipment, climb ladders, and lift 70 pounds;
• Must hold a valid, unrestricted Class G driver’s licence. Drivers Abstract will be conducted;
• Strong command of the English language, both verbal and written.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without restrictions.
