Be a key contributor at Community Fire Prevention, a division of Onyx-Fire, taking charge of inspections and repairs of fire safety equipment. As a Registered Fire Protection Technician, you'll ensure compliance with fire codes while guiding junior team members. Your proactive approach and commitment to continuing education will ensure excellent client service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual fire inspections
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment according to regulations
• Document inspections and deficiencies accurately
• Be part of emergency on-call rotation
• Mentor and support junior technicians
Requirements:
• Certification as ASTTBC RFPT or CFAA is essential
• Valid BC Driver's License with required abstract
• Strong background in mechanical and electrical fields
• Detail-oriented and proactive problem solver
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
