We are constantly growing and currently looking for the right person to join our team as a Journeyman Mechanic
Duties/Responsibilities:- Assemble exploration drilling equipment; control panels, engines, structural, power units, top drives
- Be able to read and understand schematics (hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical)/shop drawings
- Be able to trouble shoot, diagnose and service a wide range of hydraulic equipment
- Adjust equipment and repair/replace bad parts, pieces or systems using hand and power tools
- Test new equipment for proper performance and make sure that work meets specifications
- Start up & testing
- Mostly indoors, Service/Assembly Department
- Ability to travel internationally would be an asset
- Journeyman Mechanic and/or Hydraulic or equivalency
- High School graduate, Grade 12
- Good communication skills
- Minimum class 5 driver’s license
- Valid passport
- Personal tools
This position is full time Monday to Friday 6:00 a.m.
-2:30 p.m. This position has overtime availability and options for flexible shifts once the probationary period completes!
