FortisBC is seeking a Power Line Technician in Kelowna, BC, to enhance electric utility services for our diverse customer base. Bring your Journeyman certification to a dynamic and inclusive team.

In this full-time position, you will be engaged in standby duties, assisting in training lower classified employees and apprentices. Reporting to a supervisor, you will ensure safety and effective service delivery throughout the electric utility sector. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform standby and on-call duties as required

• Assist in training apprentices and lower classification employees

• Undertake tasks typically assigned to lower classifications

Requirements:

• Hold a Journeyman Powerline Technician Interprovincial Certificate

• Familiar with electric utility systems and safety procedures

• Valid Class 3 driver’s licence with air brake endorsement
